The Seattle Kraken get back home after a three-game road trip when they host the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday.
The Philadelphia Flyers are 1-1-1 to start the season and are trying to avoid a three-game losing streak when they travel to face off against the Seattle Kraken. Philadelphia is coming off a very close loss just getting beat out 4-3 in overtime against the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday. This is the fourth game in a row on the road for the Flyers to start the season. Philadelphia will have its home opener on Saturday against the Vancouver Canucks. The Flyers scored the first two goals of the game in the first period. Both were scored by Matvei Michkov and both were on the power play. But Edmonton tied it up in the second with two straight goals. Philadelphia looked like it was on the verge of a win but Evan Bouchard scored for the Oilers with less than four minutes in regulation. That forced the game to overtime where Leon Draisaitl put the game away scoring the tie-breaker less a minute into the extra period.
