As NHL action returns from the holiday break, there’s an interconference matchup in the afternoon window on Saturday with the Philadelphia Flyers (15-16-4) visiting the Anaheim Ducks (13-16-4) at the Honda Center for the first meeting between the two teams this year. This will be the first of four games out west for the Flyers, and the second game of a six game road stretch overall that began before the break with a 7-3 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday.

The Flyers are led by right winger Travis Konecny, who has been more than a point per game player this year with 41 points in 35 games. Konecny leads the team with both 16 goals and 25 assists. He has three multi-point games so far in the month of December.
Meanwhile for the Ducks, they’ve won three of their last five games overall. However they lost last time out on Monday, dropping a 3-1 game to the red hot Vegas Golden Knights.
Right winger Troy Terry leads the Ducks with 25 points in 35 games, and is tied for the team lead with nine goals on the season. Lukas Dostal has handled most of the work in net for the Ducks, with a 91.5% save percentage and 2.77 goals against average.
