Blue Jackets look to extend winning streak as road trip rolls into Alberta to face the Flames
Winners of five of their last six games, the Columbus Blue Jackets continue their current five-game road trip on Tuesday night as they look to continue their dominance over the Calgary Flames who Columbus has beaten in three consecutive meetings. Calgary followed a four-game winning streak in mid-November with their current four-game losing streak that’s seen their usually reliable defense allow four or more goals three times in that span. Columbus won the first meeting of the season against Calgary behind a pair of goals from Adan Fantilli as the Blue Jackets raced out to an early three-goal leading going on to win 5-2 at home.
