The surging Boston Bruins come to Madison Square Garden to face the free-falling New York Rangers. Watch free on Fubo.
The Boston Bruins (20-15-4, 44 points) have turned their season around after a slow start, going 12-6-1 since interim coach Joe Sacco took over for Jim Montgomery in November after the club opened the season 8-9-3. On Thursday night, the Bruins head to Madison Square Garden to take on the sliding New York Rangers (16-19-1, 33 points), who have lost four straight and seven of their last eight to fall into last place in the Metropolitan Division. The news gets worse, with star goalie Igor Shesterkin landing on injured reserve on Tuesday with an upper-body injury, thrusting Jonathan Quick — who turns 39 on Jan. 21 — into the No. 1 slot in net.
