Geno Smith and the Seahawks will take the field against Brock Purdy and the 49ers on Sunday afternoon.
The Seattle Seahawks will travel to Santa Clara, California, on Sunday afternoon in Week 11 of the NFL’s regular season. There, they will face off with divisional foes, the San Francisco 49ers, at Levi’s Stadium. The 49ers head into this week with a 5-4 record, not exactly what they would have suspected through nine games this season. They are a half-game back from the Arizona Cardinals at the top of the NFC West despite having a 1-2 record against divisional teams.
They beat the Seahawks earlier this season while losing to the Cardinals and the Rams by less than three points each. Brock Purdy leads the group under center with 2,454 yards and 12 touchdowns with seven interceptions. They did just get back Christian McCaffrey as well, who ran for 39 yards and caught six passes for 68 yards in his first game this season.
The Seahawks are just on the other side of the .500 mark with a 4-5 record this season. After starting the season 3-1, they have since gone 1-4 in their last five games, losing to the New York Giants and San Francisco before winning their only game in that stretch with a 34-14 win over the Atlanta Falcons. They lost their last two games against the Buffalo Bills and the LA Rams.
Geno Smith leads the team as the starting quarterback. He has 2,560 yards and 11 touchdowns with 10 interceptions. His favorite target this season has been D.K. Metcalf, who has 568 yards on 35 receptions for three touchdowns. Ken Walker III has ran for 398 yards and six touchdowns on 99 carries.
