Aidan O’Connell and the Raiders will take the field against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs on Friday afternoon.
The Las Vegas Raiders will travel to Missouri on the day after Thanksgiving for a Week 13 matchup in the NFL’s regular season. In Missouri, they will take on the Kansas City Chiefs on GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs are 10-1 this season heading into this week, sitting atop the AFC West and the entire NFL. They are three games ahead of the Los Angeles Chargers and Denver Broncos in the division. Their only loss this season came two weeks ago by the Buffalo Bills on the road by nine points, 30-21.
Last week, they bounced back, traveling to Carolina, taking on the Panthers, and winning on a last-second field goal to walk off. Patrick Mahomes leads this team under center and is an MVP candidate this season. He has thrown for 2,404 yards and 15 touchdowns with 11 interceptions. After the injury to Isaih Pachecho, Kareem Hunt took over and ran for 509 yards and five touchdowns.
The Raiders are just 2-9 on the season and sit at the bottom of the division, five games back from the Broncos. Their only two wins this season came early on against the Cleveland Browns and the Baltimore Ravens. They are currently riding a seven-game losing streak into this game, having already lost to Kansas City earlier this year by seven points.
Their most recent loss came on their home field at Allegiant Stadium against the Broncos by 10 points. Rookie Brock Bowers leads the receiving group with 706 yards on 70 receptions for three scores.
