Jacoby Brissett and the New England Patriots will take the field against Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets on Thursday night.
The New England Patriots will head on the road to begin Week 3 of the NFL season by taking on the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium on Thursday Night Football. The Patriots take to the road with a 1-1 record. The first week, they got by on a narrow 16-10 win against the Cincinnati Bengals. Last week, they lost 23-20 to the Seattle Seahawks in overtime in the first game at home this year. Jacoby Brissett threw for 149 yards and a touchdown on 15 completions in the loss, while Antonio Gibson ran 11 times for 96 yards. Despite Hunter Henry leading the team with eight receptions for 109 yards, it was rookie Ja’Lynn Polk who pulled down the five-yard touchdown pass from Brissett. Joey Slye was on fire in this game as well with a pair of field goals. Rhamondre Stevenson also found the end zone in the loss.

The Jets head home for the first time this season after playing the first two weeks on the road. In Week 1, they lost 32-19 against the San Francisco 49ers and last week they took down the Tennessee Titans 24-17 on the back of a pair of touchdowns from the Wisconsin rookie Braelon Allen.
Aaron Rodgers threw for 176 yards and two touchdowns, one to Allen, the NFL’s youngest player, and the other to Breece Hall. Hall also led the team with 62 rushing yards on 14 carries. Garrett Wilson had four receptions for 57 yards to lead the receiving corps in this win.
