Every year, the NFL comes together and selects a group of the best of the best in each conference and creates a ProBowl team for that conference that will face off against each other in various events. These players selected are the best of the best at their position in their conference according to fantasy points scored and value earned over the season. Here is our 2023 Fantasy Football Pro Bowl Roster.
AFC Quarterbacks
Josh Allen, Bills – Lamar Jackson, Ravens
Josh Allen finished as the best quarterback in fantasy football with 439.6 fantasy points entering Week 18. Lamar Jackson led the Ravens to the No. 1 overall seed in the AFC as well as the No. 4 quarterback in fantasy football with 3,678 passing yards, 821 rushing yards, and 29 total touchdowns for 386.2 fantasy points.
AFC Running Backs
Travis Etienne, Jaguars – Raheem Mostert, Dolphins – Breece Hall, Jets
Travis Etienne had a career year with Jacksonville this season, rushing for almost 1,000 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also caught 53 passes. Raheem Mostert was the draft value of the year finishing with 1,012 yards despite the rise of De’Von Achane as well. He had 267.7 fantasy points, just one point behind Etienne. Breece Hall was five points behind Mostert, catching 74 passes which was second most this season to Alvin Kamara.
AFC Wide Receivers
Tyreek Hill, Dolphins – Keenan Allen, Chargers – Michael Pittman, Colts
Tyreek Hill was a no-brainer. He has 1,651 receiving yards on 122 receptions with 10 touchdowns. Keenan Allen finished as the WR6 heading into Week 18 despite not playing since Week 14. He had 280.9 fantasy points, averaging 21.45 points per game which is No. 3 in the NFL. I went with Michael Pittman over Ja’Marr Chase because of his consistency and lack of injury. Pittman was the WR13 on the season, catching 104 passes for 1,108 yards. He had just one game this season before Week 16 with under 10 fantasy points.
AFC Tight Ends
Travis Kelce, Chiefs – David Njoku, Browns
Travis Kelce had an off year and still finished with the second-most points among tight ends heading into Week 18. He caught 93 passes for 984 yards and five touchdowns averaging 14.63 points per game, which was the most in the NFL. David Njoku finished as the TE6 before the last week, including winning many fantasy championships with 26.40, 16.40, and 17.40 points in the three fantasy playoff weeks.
NFC Quarterbacks
Jalen Hurts, Eagles – Dak Prescott, Cowboys
Jalen Hurts and Dak Prescott have been battling it out all season long for the NFC East championship. Hurts started the season strong and faded to averaging although still finishing as the No. 2 QB with 416.2 fantasy points. Prescott started average and broke out after the team’s bye week with a six-week stretch where he finished QB3 or higher in five of the six weeks.
NFC Running Backs
Christian McCaffrey, 49ers – Kyren Williams, Rams – Rachaad White, Buccaneers
Christian McCaffrey is the fantasy MVP this season. He finished with 391.3 fantasy points, which was better than all the two quarterbacks this season — Josh Allen and Jalen Hurts. He ran for 1,459 yards and caught 67 passes with 21 total touchdowns. Kyren Williams was arguably the best waiver wire add of the season, finishing with 1,144 yards and 15 total touchdowns despite not starting the season. Rachaad White broke out, averaging 15.91 fantasy points per game and almost doubling his fantasy point total of all last season.
NFC Wide Receivers
CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys – Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions – Puka Nacua, Rams
When Dak Prescott broke out, CeeDee Lamb did just the same. He finished as the WR10 or higher in six of the last nine weeks of the season topping 20 fantasy points in six of those nine as well. Amon-Ra St. Brown was the most consistent receiver this season, having just one game under 10 points, finishing as the WR3 on the year. Puka Nacua should be the NFL’s rookie of the year. He finished with 101 receptions for 1,445 yards. He was No. 4 in total yards this season among receivers.
NFC Tight Ends
Sam LaPorta, Lions – T.J. Hockenson, Vikings
Sam LaPorta was the breakout of the year in the tight end world. As a rookie, it is almost unheard of to lead all tight ends in fantasy points. He finished six points over Travis Kelce with 81 receptions for 860 yards and nine touchdowns. T.J. Hockenson finished just 0.4 points behind Kelce with 95 receptions for 960 yards and five touchdowns. He did so without Kirk Cousins for most of the season as well.
