Blaise Threatt and Weber State will take the court against Nick Davidson and Nevada on Wednesday night in men’s college basketball.
Weber State will travel in the second week of the regular season in men’s college basketball to face Nevada. The Wolf Pack are undefeated through the first week of the season with two wins under their belt. They welcomed Sam Houston to the Lawlor Events Center on Tuesday of last week to begin their season. They came away with a 91-75 win, led by Kobe Sanders, who dropped 27 points on 9-of-14 shooting. The Cal-Poly fifth-year senior transfer also had six rebounds and four assists.
Nick Davidson finished with 26 points and 10 rebounds in the team’s only double-double. Later that week, they brought in Washington and beat that team by 10 points. Once again, Sanders led the team with 20 points on 5-of-16 shooting, with four rebounds and five assists. Davidson had 14 points and nine rebounds as well.
The Wildcats head on the road for the second straight game after they lost 76-48 on the road to Oregon State at the end of last week. Blaise Threatt led the team in the loss with 14 points, six rebounds, and four assists. He was the only player in double figures, followed by Nigel Burris, who had seven points and five rebounds.
That game came after Weber State beat NW Indian at the Dee Events Center. The team dominated NW Indian 118-35. Dyson Koehler led the team with 22 points and eight rebounds on 7-of-9 shooting from the floor and 6-for-7 from three. Threatt had 14 points, three rebounds, and seven assists in the team’s win.
