Michigan takes on Toledo in a Charity Exhibition benefitting C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. Watch free on Fubo.
The Michigan Wolverines begin the Dusty May era on Friday night when they take on the Toledo Rockets in an exhibition game. May was hired after Juwan Howard was fired after a tough last season. May comes to Michigan from FAU who he led to a Final Four appearance in 2023. May flipped almost the entire roster as he brought in transfers Danny Wolf from Yale, Tre Donaldson from Auburn, Roddy Gayle Jr. from Ohio State, Sam Walters from Alabama and Vladislav Goldin who came over from FAU. The Wolverines also brought in prospects Justin Pippen and L.J. Cason. It is a completely different team for the Wolverines as they try and bounce back from a season in which they went just 8-24 overall and 3-17 in the Big Ten.

The Rockets will come to Ann Arbor on Friday and try to prove that they can play with the big time teams. It may only be an exhibition game, but the Rockets are trying to kick off their season with a win against the Wolverines.
The Rockets are coming off a season in which they went 20-12, but lost to Kent State in the MAC tournament and didn’t play in the postseason.
They only major conference opponent Toledo played last year was West Virginia and they came up short losing 91-81.
The Rockets will get tested a lot more this season as they will play back-to-back games against Houston and Purdue in December. Both of those teams come into the season ranked in the top 15.
