Vanderbilt goes for its fourth straight win on Wednesday night when it takes on The Citadel
The Vanderbilt Commodores host The Citadel Bulldogs in a non-conference matchup. The Commodores come into Wednesday night on a three-game winning streak and 9-1 on the season. They were upset by Drake back on November 24th, but have looked great in their other nine games. They are coming off a big 83-74 neutral site win over TCU 10 days ago. Jason Edwards has been the team’s top player this season as he is scoring a team-best 19.4 points per game. Devin McGlockton has also been great as he is grabbing a team-high 7.9 rebounds per game and also scoring 10.9 points per game. The Commodores will play their next two games at home against Austin Peay and New Orleans to wrap up their non-conference schedule before opening up the SEC with a road trip to LSU. First, though, they want to take care of the Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs come into Wednesday night looking to pick up a huge upset as they play their second game in three days. Monday night they went on the road and played Central Arkansas.
The Bulldogs have played just one major conference opponent this season and that was in the first game of the season and they lost to Boston College 69-60.
Wednesday’s game is the second of three straight on the road as they will also play at Samford in two weeks.
Brody Fox is leading the team in scoring, but is one of only two players scoring in double figures this season for the Bulldogs.
