Jones started the season with a 32 point performance, two off his career-high and has been off to the races since then. It has been a season of achievements with his first double-figure assist, double-figure rebound game and two of his six career games with 28 or more points through just six games overall.
For the Skyhawks to pull off the upset against Jones and the Golden Eagles it could come down to team defense and three-point shooting. As a team the Skyhawks are 4-1 when they allow less than 70 points to an opponent and winless when teams get over that threshold.
They are also one of the best three-point shooting teams in the country. Overall they are shooting 38.5% shooting from three with their four leading scorers all shooting 35% or better from behind the arc giving them a weapon to pull off the upset.
