After a non-conference loss to Arkansas before the Christmas break, North Carolina A&T has lost eight games in a row to drop to 3-10 overall with an 0-1 mark in conference play. The Aggies have fared better at home, with a 2-2 record at Corbertt Sports Center. North Carolina Central, on the other hand, also lost its last game to drop to 6-9 overall with a 2-5 road record. The Eagles have two more non-conference matchups before opening MEAC play. These two teams met last season, with N.C. Central earning a 67-62 victory over N.C. A&T.
