Louisville and Oklahoma will face off in the championship game of the Bad Boys Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis. They will take the court at Imperial Arena for the third time in as many days in Nassau, Bahamas. The Cardinals came into this tournament with one loss under its belt after dropping a ranked game to Tennessee by 22 points. However, they bounced back and faced off with the No. 14-ranked Indiana in the first round. They demolished the Hoosiers by 28 points in regulation, led by a 16-point team-high from Noah Waterman.
Advancing to the semifinals, they matched up with West Virginia, who took down No. 3 Gonzaga the day prior. They ended regulation tied, and in overtime, Louisville scored 17 points, winning by nine points. Chucky Hepburn dropped 32 points with three rebounds and two assists while Kasean Pryor had 13 points and eight rebounds with two assists in the win.
The Sooners came into this tournament undefeated, and they have stayed that way. They took down Lindenwood, Northwestern State, Stetson, and East Texas A&M in the first four games of the year. They opened the tournament with a game against Providence and won by just two points. Koby Elvis led the way for Oklahoma with 26 points on 10-of-14 shooting. Jeremiah Fears had 20 points and seven assists as well.
Advancing to the semifinals, they met the No. 24 ranked team in the nation, Arizona, and won by five points. Fears led the way this time with a game-high 26 points, five rebounds, and five assists. Jalon Moore, a senior forward, had 24 points and seven rebounds while advancing to the championship game.
