Terrence Brown and FDU will take the court at Conte Forum against Donald Hand Jr and Boston College on Saturday.
Fairleigh Dickinson will travel to Chesnut Hill, Massachusetts, on Saturday afternoon for a non-conference showdown in men’s college basketball. In Massachusetts, they will face off with Boston College from the ACC at the Conte Forum. The Eagles are 7-5 heading into this weekend. After playing eight games in November, they have only played four games this month and lost three of them. They opened it up with a loss by 22 points to South Carolina at home in the SEC/ACC Challenge. They followed it with an ACC loss by six points on the road at Wake Forest.
Their only win in that stretch came against Stonehill at home by four points, led by Chad Venning, who had 13 points. They gave up over 100 points to SMU at home, losing in their last game 103-77. Donald Hand Jr leads the team in scoring, averaging 14.2 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game.
The Knights have just four wins in 14 games this season heading into this game. They played eight games in November and have played six games this month. Similarly to Boston College, FDU has won just one game this month against Lehman College by 44 points. Dylan Jones led the way with 22 points on 6-of-10 shooting.
They lost their last game by 14 points on the road against Minnesota on the road. Sophomore guard Terrence Brown leads the team in scoring this season, averaging 21.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game while shooting 46% from the field. Jones averages 11.5 points and 2.1 rebounds per game.
