But it was Mincey with two clutch baskets from downtown that helped seal the deal for UMass-Lowell. The River Hawks should have the distinct advantage especially since this is a home game otherwise this might be a different story with UMass-Lowell’s 1-4 road record.
It helps the River Hawks’ case considering Dartmouth is 2-4 on the road and coming off back-to-back losses away from home. The Big Green are coming off a 77-65 loss against Notre Dame on Wednesday. Even with the loss, Jackson Munro had a standout performance for Dartmouth scoring 17 points and he shot 64 percent from the field. The Big Green also had four other players score in double digits.
Notre Dame just got off to too quick of a lead up by 10 early. Dartmouth closed the gap with an 8-2 run of its own but the Fighting Irish got back up to 10 again right before the first half. Dartmouth will need to get off to a faster start if it is going to pull off this upset on the road today.
