The No. 5-seeded Chattanooga will take on the No. 3-seeded Bradley in the quarterfinals of the National Invitational Tournament on Tuesday night at Carver Arena in Peoria, Illinois. The No. 5-seeded Mocs are 26-9 heading into this round in the tournament. After losing their chance at an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament with a semifinal loss to Furman in the SoCon Tournament, they were seeded in the NIT. They opened their tournament run with a first-round matchup against Middle Tennessee State that took overtime to decide.

They came away with a 109-103 win, led by a 31-point team-high performance from Bash Wieland on 10-of-19 shooting. In the second round, they advanced to meet Dayton, a team that was hot at the beginning of the year. They won that game 87-72 on the back of a game-high performance from Honor Huff, who had 26 points and four assists.
On the other side, the No. 3-seeded Braves are 28-8 overall this season heading into the quarterfinals. They lost in their conference tournament in the MVC to Drake in the championship game after beating Murray State and Valparaiso before that. They opened this tournament with a win in the first round over North Alabama by nine points.
In the 71-62 win, Darius Hannah led the team with 17 points and six rebounds in 29 minutes off the bench. Christian Davis was the only other player in double figures with 13 points. Last round, they took down George Mason to advance to the quarterfinals. Corey Thomas’s game-high 21 points propelled Bradley to a 75-67 win.
