The Rebels come into this game with a perfect 5-0 record. They started out the season as the No. 24 ranked team in the country and fell to No. 25 after the first week despite beating Long Island by 30 and Grambling by two points. As the No. 25 team in the country, they won two more games beating South Alabama by 10 points and Colorado State by 15 points. Still, they fell.

Sean Pedulla, the former Virginia Tech guard, leads the team in scoring, averaging 14.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game. He is followed by Jaylen Murray, the senior transfer from Saint Peter’s, who averages 12.2 points and 4.0 assists per game.

    The Cougars entered this week with a 5-0 record, also undefeated. They opened the season with a 33-point win over Central Arkansas in Provo, Utah, on their home court at the Marriott Center. They also bat UC Riverside that week by six points. Two weeks ago, they took down Queens at home by 44 points and Idaho at home by 24 points leading to their undefeated record.

    Last weekend, they took down Mississippi Valley State in their only game of the week. Egor Demin, the freshman guard, leads the team in scoring with 17.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 7.5 assists per game. He is also averaging 2.3 steals per game. Richie Saunders follows him at 15.3 points and 6.0 rebounds per game.
