    How to Watch BYU at Providence in Men’s College Basketball: Live Stream, TV Channel

    Kanon Catchings and BYU will take the court against Jayden Pierre and Providence in the Big 12-Big East Battle on Tuesday night.

    BYU will travel to Providence, Rhode Island, on Tuesday night for one of the first games of the Big 12-Big East Battle this week in men’s college basketball. In Rhode Island, they will take on Providence at Amica Mutual Pavilion. The Cougars, the Big 12 side of this battle, head into this game with one loss on their resume. They opened up the season at home against Central Arkansas, winning by 38 points. They followed it up with wins against UC Riverside, Queens, Idaho, and Mississippi Valley State before heading to their in-season tournament.

    They opened up the Rady Children’s Invitational with a matchup against the former No. 23-ranked Ole Miss and lost in overtime by 11 points. Despite the loss, Kanon Catchings led the team with 17 points. BYU ended the first month of play with a win in the third-place game of the tournament against NC State led by Richie Saunders’s 13 points and Egor Demin’s 11 rebounds.

    The Big East side of the battle, the Friars, are 5-3 overall this season. It was a rough November with eight total games. They opened up the season bating Central Connecticut at home before beating Stonehill, Hampton, Green Bay, and Delaware State. They went on the road for the first time at the end of the month in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament opening up with Oklahoma.

    They lost that game by just two points despite Wesley Cardet Jr.’s 17 points. They lost the consolation semifinal against Davidson by 11 points, led by Jayden Pierre’s 14 points. In the seventh-place game, they lost to former No. 14-ranked Indiana by 16 points, led by a 22-point performance from Pierre.
