Drexel returns home for the first time in more than two weeks when it hosts Bryant on Monday night in college basketball.
Drexel (4-4) won three of four since its last home game back on Nov. 16 and returns to the Daskalakis Athletic Center in Philadelphia on Monday night to host Bryant (4-4). The Bulldogs are 2-3 on the road, while the Dragons are 2-1 at home this season. Bryant split two games before Thanksgiving at the Coke Classic in Chattanooga, Tennessee, while Drexel returns after placing third at the Sunshine Slam in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Bulldogs were 20-13 last season, missing out on a postseason bid, while the Dragons finished 20-12 and its last postseason bid came in the 2021 NCAA tournament.

Drexel never led by less than 11 in the second half on Tuesday in its 83-71 win over Chicago State at the Sunshine Slam. Kobe MaGee finished with 23 points and nine rebounds, while Yame Butler added 20 points. MaGee nets 16.5 points per game, Butler drops 12.5 points a night and Cole Hargrove averages 11.5 points and 8.8 boards.
Bryant tied the game at the 11:21 mark before host Chattanooga broke out with a 10-2 run and never trailed again in an 84-76 win at the Coke Classic on Wednesday. Earl Timberlake went for 18 points and six assists, while Rafael Pinzon scored 16 points in the loss. Pinzon puts down 17.6 points per game and Timberlake averages 13.8 points, 7.4 rebounds and 5.2 assists.
Monday’s game is the first between the programs. Phil Martelli Jr. is 24-17 in his second season leading the Bulldogs, who played in their first NCAA tournament at the Division I level in 2022. Zach Spicer is in his ninth year leading the Dragons with a 117-134 mark.
