Boston University will head on the road at the beginning of the second week of men’s college basketball to California, taking on UCLA at the Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles on Monday night. They opened the season with an 85-50 win against Rider, led by 18 points from Oregon State transfer Tyler Bilodeau. Dylan Andrews, a junior, had 14 points and six assists as well in the win.
Later that weekend, the former No. 22 ranked team in the country lost 72-64 at home against New Mexico. Bilodeau, once again, led the team in scoring with 23 points and 15 rebounds, doing everything he could to will UCLA. He was the only other player in double figures as the team shot 36% from the field and 22% from three. Kobe Johnson had seven points, four rebounds, and five assists in the loss.
The Terriers stay on the West Coast to start this week. They lost at home in their season-opening game against Northeastern, 80-72. They went on the road in their second game last weekend to San Diego where they lost 74-60. They have started the season 0-2 and are looking for their first win this season tonight.
