In ACC action on Saturday night Duke (7-3, 3-3 ACC) plays its final home game of the year with Virginia Tech (5-5, 3-3 ACC) coming to Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium. Duke is an impressive 4-1 at home this year with the lone loss coming to conference leader No. 13 SMU (the Blue Devils’ most recent home game, back on Oct. 26), and is trying to finish on a high note on Senior Day. On the other side is a Virginia Tech team with two chances left to get that one more win needed to become bowl eligible for back-to-back years for the first time since 2018 and 2019.

Duke had a bye week last week. Prior to that the Blue Devils kicked a two game losing streak by going on the road and beating NC State 29-19. Virginia Tech was off last week as well. The last time the Hokies were on the field they fell to No. 17 Clemson 24-14 in Blacksburg.
Last year Duke and Virginia Tech didn’t play. It was the first time since 2004 the teams didn’t meet. Their most recent matchup came in 2022 with Duke winning 24-7 in Durham. While they’ve split the last four meetings, Virginia Tech leads the all-time series 19-11.
This game kicks off at 8:00 p.m. ET on Saturday night on the ACC Network. Wes Durham and Tom Luginbill will be on the call from Wallace Wade Stadium.
