Miller Moss and the No. 13 ranked USC will take the field against Bryson Barnes and Utah State on Saturday night.
Utah State will head on the road in week two of college football to take on USC, the No. 13 ranked team in the nation, at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in California on Saturday night. The Trojans came away with a narrow and controversial win in their first game of the year against the former No. 13 ranked team LSU in the first week. Miller Moss threw for 378 yards on 27 completions and a touchdown. Kyron Hudson and Zachariah Branch were the main beneficiaries of Moss’s success. Hudson had five receptions for 83 yards while Branch had four receptions for 56 yards. Woody Marks took care of the ground game with 16 carries for 68 yards and two touchdowns. Despite the win, the defense recorded no sacks and one two tackles for a loss. That will need to change for USC to continue to have success as the season progresses.

The Aggies also came away from the first week of college football with a win taking down Robert Morris at home 36-14. Despite being down 14-10 at the halftime break, Utah State put up 26 unanswered points and shut out RMU in the second half. Bryson Barnes and Spencer Petras both dominated under center. Barnes had 198 yards and two touchdowns with an interception.
Barnes also led the team on the ground with five carries for 88 yards and another touchdown with his legs. Robert Briggs Jr also had 88 yards on nine carries. Kyrese White led all receivers with 131 yards on three receptions and two touchdowns. Jalen Royals caught the other touchdown along with 77 yards on five catches.
