After suffering a tough home loss to Kansas State in mid-October, Colorado has rattled off three consecutive wins to improve to 7-2 overall with a 5-1 mark in conference play. The Buffs are also 3-1 at home this season, as they continue to compete for a spot in the CFP. Utah, on the other hand, has lost five straight games after winning its first four games of the season. The Utes are now 4-5 overall with a 1-5 conference record and a 2-2 road record. Utah has won seven-straight games over Colorado, including a 23-17 victory last season.

Most recently, Colorado cruised past Texas Tech in a 41-27 victory at Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock last week. The Buffs trailed 13-0 in the first quarter, but came storming back thanks to Heisman hopeful QB Shedeur Sanders. Sanders threw for 291 yards and three touchdowns in the win and ran for another score, while brother Shilo Sanders had a six-yard fumble return touchdown.
As for Utah, the Utes went down to the wire with No. 9 BYU but fell 22-21 in Salt Lake City last week. Utah held a 21-13 lead heading into the fourth quarter, but the Cougars scored nine points in the final frame while shutting out the Utes in the second half.
