The West Virginia Mountaineers take on the UCF Knights on Saturday afternoon in a Big 12 matchup. The Mountaineers come into Saturday looking to bounce back from a loss to Baylor and get their third win in the last four games. The Mountaineers had won two consecutive road games against Arizona and Cincinnati, but they struggled to stop the Bears in the 49-35 loss. The loss dropped them to 5-5 overall and 4-3 in the Big 12 and in need of a win to become bowl-eligible. They will wrap up their regular season with a road game against Texas Tech but first want to get a win against the Knights on Saturday. Garrett Greene has been good for the Mountaineers as he has thrown for 1,589 yards and 11 touchdowns. The rushing attack has been a three-headed monster as Jaheim White, CJ Donaldson Jr. and Greene all have at least 525 yards rushing and 98 carries. They have combined for 17 touchdowns on the ground.

The Knights will have to find a way to slow down the Mountaineers’ ground game if they want to come to town and get a big road win. The Knights come into Saturday needing to get wins in both of their last two games to become bowl-eligible. They fell to Arizona State 35-31 in their last game and are now just 4-6 overall and 2-5 in the Big 12.
The Knights also rely heavily on their rushing attack as they have gained 2,628 yards on the ground this year compared to 2,018 through the air.
RJ Harvey has been the leading back for the Knights as he has rushed for 1,328 yards nad 19 touchdowns.
