The UC Davis Aggies look to bounce back from a loss on Saturday evening when they take on the Sacramento State Hornets. The Aggies saw their nine-game winning streak snapped last week when they fell 30-28 to Montana State. It was a battle for first place in the Big Sky and the Aggies saw their furious rally come up just short. The Aggies trailed the Bobcats 30-8 heading into the fourth quarter, but they scored three touchdowns in the last 6:21 of the game to close to within two. Unfortunately for them the two-point conversion failed and they couldn’t tie the game. Miles Hastings threw for 320 yards and three touchdowns in the loss and Lan Larison rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown. Chaz Davis and Larison combined for 12 catches and 237 yards receiving in the losing effort. They will look to be good again on Saturday evening as they try and get a road win over Sacramento State.

The Hornets, though, are looking to snap a four-game losing streak and pick up a huge upset win over the Aggies. The Hornets started the year 2-2, but have won just once since and that came back on October 19th in double overtime over Weber State.
They did take Idaho State to overtime the next week in a loss and last week they lost by just three to Cal Poly.
They have been competitive, but they just haven’t been able to get back in the win column and snap out of their funk.
