Both Tuskegee and Grambling State look for their first win of the season this Saturday night. This is an inter-divisional matchup with DI Grambling State taking on DII Tuskegee. For Grambling State, the Tigers are in their first season under new head coach Mickey Joseph. This game should prove to be a closer matchup than the Tigers’ opening game of the season when they traveled to take on Louisiana. The game was pretty much over at the half when the Ragin’ Cajuns scored 23 points in the second quarter. They ultimately went on to win 40-10. There were glimmers of hope for the Tigers in the second half when the defense tightened down and only surrendered 10 points. They’ll need to pick up that momentum to bring home coach Joseph’s first win.

The Golden Tigers made it close the entire game but were shutout in the fourth quarter and were unable to mount a comeback. The road only gets tougher for the Golden Tigers tonight.
