No. 25 Tulane looks to extend its winning streak to seven games against Navy in Annapolis on Saturday.
With the now nationally ranked Green Wave riding a seven-game winning streak into Annapolis, No. 25 Tulane visits Navy at Memorial Stadium at the Naval Academy on Saturday. Tulane is having one of its best seasons in recent memory with only two losses this season, both to ranked opponents. After rattling off seven-straight wins, the Green Wave are now 8-2 overall with a perfect 6-0 conference record this season. Tulane is also 4-1 on the road. Navy, on the other hand, is also having a strong season with a 7-2 overall record and a 5-1 mark in AAC play. The Midshippmen are a perfect 4-0 at home this season. Navy has won the last two matchups over Tulane, including a 27-24 victory the last time these two teams met in 2020.

Most recently, Tulane dominated on homecoming weekend in a 52-6 victory over Temple at Yulman Stadium last week. Makhi Hughes led the way once again for Tulane, rushing for 153 yards and two touchdowns to extend Tulane’s winning streak to seven games. Ty Thomson also added 75 yards on just six carries with the Green Wave cruising to a win.
As for Navy, the Mids also took care of business in a 28-7 victory over South Florida last week in Tampa. Navy jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first two drives of the game, with Eli Heidenrich opening the game with a 60-yard touchdown run. Navy finished with 321 rushing yards and three scores on the ground.
