With the home team winning two consecutive games to get back on track following a loss in the opener, North Dakota State welcomes Towson to the Fargodome on Saturday afternoon.
After opening the season with a loss to Deion Sanders and Colorado on the road, North Dakota State has won two consecutive games to climb to 2-1 on the season. The Bison played Colorado tough in their opener, proving to the country that they’re once again for real. North Dakota State is 1-0 at home this season, and will wrap up non-conference play this week. Towson, on the other hand, has opened the season at 1-2 with an 0-2 record on the road. This is the fourth matchup between these two teams in series history, with NDSU winning the first three.

Most recently, North Dakota State rallied late for a 38-35 victory over East Tennessee State on the road last week. Quarterback Cam Miller scored on an 11-yard touchdown run to lift the Bison to a win with 50 seconds left in the game. Miller also added 250 yards and a touchdown through the air in a terrific performance.
As for Towson, the Tigers fell in a heartbreaker by a final score of 14-13 against Villanova last week on the road. Towson missed a field goal attempt in the final seconds that could’ve given them the win following a Will Middleton forced fumble. Towson lost the game despite out gaining Villanova 394 yards to 351.
