Toledo wraps up its regular season on Tuesday night when it visits Akron in a MAC battle
The Toledo Rockets hit the road on Tuesday night to take on the Akron Zips. The Rockets come into Tuesday looking to bounce back from a 24-7 loss to Ohio last Wednesday. The win snapped a two-game winning streak and dropped their record to 7-4 overall and 4-3 in the MAC. They have won their last two games on the road against Northern Illinois and Eastern Michigan and are hoping to get a third straight away from their home. The Rockets have been led by quarterback Tucker Gleason as he has thrown for 2,168 yards and 20 touchdowns. His top two targets have been Jerjuan Newton and Junior Vandeross III. Newton has caught 56 passes for 868 yards and 10 touchdowns. Vandeross III has 62 catches for 679 yards and four touchdowns.

The Zips will have to find a way to slow down the trio if they want to have any shot at knocking off the Rockets and get a big home win to wrap up their season.
The Zips come into Thursday just 3-8 overall and 2-5 in the MAC. They have lost six of their eight games, but they did get a big 38-17 win over Kent State last Tuesday.
Ben Finley threw for 250 yards and a touchdown in the win. Jordon Simmons and Charles Kellom both rushed for over 100 yards to help the Zips get the win.
Finley has now thrown for 2,410 yards on the season with 14 touchdowns. Adrian Newton has been his top target this year as he has 41 receptions for 831 yards and seven touchdowns.
