Louisiana-Monroe (5-3) returns home, where it is 4-0 this season, to host Texas State (4-4) in a Sun Belt Conference West Division matchup at Malone Stadium in Monroe, Louisiana. Both teams have lost consecutive games and the Warhawks had the added issue of offensive line coach Cameron Blankenship being caught on camera last weekend getting physical with lineman Drew Hutchinson during their game. Coach G.J. Kinne is 12-9 in his second season with the Bobcats, leading them to a bowl victory last season. Bryant Vincent is in his first year at Louisiana-Monroe after serving as offensive coordinator at New Mexico last season. He was 7-6 as interim head coach at UAB in 2022.
