Draylen Ellis and Tennessee State will take the field against Cam Miller and North Dakota State on Saturday afternoon.
The Tennessee State Tigers will head on the road in Week 2 of college football to take on the North Dakota State Bison on Saturday afternoon at the Fargodome. The Tigers opened up their season last week at home with a 41-21 win over Mississippi Valley State. Draylen Ellis, the senior quarterback, had 356 yards and three touchdowns with an interception. Out of his 21 completions, Jalal Dean had nine receptions for 144 yards and a touchdown. Karate Brenson had just two receptions with a touchdown, but he made the most of it as his longest was 55 yards totaling 86 yards. Jaden McGill ended up leading the team on the ground through the first week with seven carries for 41 yards. However, Jordan Grant out-carried him with nine attempts for 37 yards. James Lowery also went 2-for-2 on his field goals with his longest coming at 32 yards.

The Bison took on Deion Sanders and Colorado in their first game of the season and came up just short 31-26. They gave the Buffaloes a run for their money after being up 20-17 heading into halftime. However, after putting up 20 points in the first half managed just six points in the fourth quarter after a scoreless third quarter.
Cam Miller led the team with 277 yards through the air and a touchdown. Braylon Henders was his favorite target pulling down five receptions for 72 yards while Joe Stoffel caught the lone touchdown. Miller also led the team on the ground with 16 carries for 81 yards and two touchdowns with his legs.
