With the two ranked teams looking to finish the regular season with a massive win, No. 12 Clemson squares off against No. 15 South Carolina at Memorial Stadium on Saturday. After earning their third consecutive win over The Citadel last week, the Tigers are now 9-2 overall with a near-perfect 7-1 mark in conference play this season. Clemson only has one loss at home on the year to Louisville in early November, with a 6-1 mark at Memorial Stadium. South Carolina, on the other hand, has won five straight games to improve to 8-3 overall with a 5-3 mark in conference play and a 3-1 record on the road. Last season, Clemson won a defensive battle in a 16-7 victory over South Carolina in Columbia.

Most recently, South Carolina closed out its home slate with a 56-12 win over Wofford in Columbia last Saturday night. LaNorris Sellers threw for 307 yards with three touchdowns in the win, while adding another 4.0 yards per carry on the ground. Dalevon Campbelll was Sellers’s go-to target with five catches for 120 yards.
As for Clemson, the Tigers cruised to a 51-14 win over The Citadel on senior day at Memorial Stadium last week. Quarterback Cade Klubnik threw for three touchdown passes while freshman running back Jay Haynes ran for 118 yards and two scores for the Tigers. Payton Page also had a 55-yard interception return touchdown in the win.
