Montana State looks to remain perfect when it hosts Sacramento State at Bobcat Stadium on Saturday.
With three games remaining in what has been a perfect regular season so far for the home team, Montana State welcomes Big Sky rival Sacramento State to Bobcat Stadium on Saturday.
Coming off a huge double-digit win over Eastern Washington last week, Montana State is a perfect 9-0 on the season with a 5-0 pace in confernece play and a 4-0 home record. The Bobcats are 9-0 for only the second time in school history. Sacramento State, on the other hand, has lost two straight games to drop to 3-6 overall with just a 1-4 mark in conference play. The Hornets are also only 1-4 on the road this season. Last season, Jackson State took care of business in a 42-30 victory over Sacramento State.

Most recently, Montana State continued its perfect season with a 42-28 victory over Eastern Washington in Cheney last week. Ty McCullouch broke the game open for the Bobcats with a 61-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, this following a 76-yard touchdown run by QB Tommy Mellott. The Bobcats rushed for 316 yards and scored over 30 points for the ninth game this season.
As for Sacramento State, the Hornets couldn’t slow down Portland State in a 58-38 loss last week at Hornet Stadium. Portland State had 544 yards of total offense compared to Sacramento State’s 484 yards, with the Vikings rushing for 299 yards and seven touchdowns. Carson Conklin was impressive for the Hornets, finishing the game with 314 yards and four scores.
