Oklahoma State will head on the road in Week 11 of the college football season to take on TCU, a Big 12 rival, at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas, on Saturday night. The Horned Frogs are 5-4 overall this season and are an even 3-3 against conference teams in the Big 12 Conference. In their last five games, they beat Kansas on the road, 38-27, before going home and losing to Houston, 30-19. They went back on the road to beat Utah, 13-7, following it up with a home win against Texas Tech by just one point, 35-34.
They lost by three points to Baylor on the road in their last game, 37-34. Sophomore quarterback Josh Hoover is in his third season with TCU after redshirting his first season. He has thrown for 2,947 yards and 21 touchdowns with only eight interceptions. He has a 74.1 QBR on the season, which is the 29th-best in the country. His leading receiver, Jack Bech, has 923 yards on 51 receptions for nine touchdowns, averaging 18.1 yards per reception in his senior year.
The Cowboys have fallen to 3-6 overall this season and are at the bottom of the Big 12 as the only winless team in the conference at 0-6. Their three non-conference wins came against South Dakota State, Arkansas, and Tulsa at the beginning of the year. They have since lost to Utah, Kansas State, West Virginia, BYU, Baylor, and Arizona State.
Senior quarterback Alan Bowman leads the team under center in his seventh college football season. He played three years with Texas Tech, redshirted two years at Michigan, and is in his second season at OSU. He has thrown for 2,272 yards and 15 touchdowns with 11 interceptions still boasting a 67.1 season QBR.
