The Michigan Wolverines look to become bowl-eligible on Saturday afternoon when they host the Northwestern Wildcats. The Wolverines come into Saturday on a two-game losing streak and they have dropped four of their last five games. Three of those four losses have come against ranked opponents and last week they nearly upset No. 8 Indiana, but struggled on offense. They held Indiana to just three points in the second half, but couldn’t convert short fields into touchdowns and came up short in the 20-15 loss. They now sit at 5-5 and in need of a win on Saturday to get bowl-eligible. They will finish their regular season with a trip to Columbus to take on rival Ohio State in The Game but first need to get past the Wildcats at home. Davis Warren has played better under center for the Wolverines after taking back the starting job, but still only has 869 yards through the air and five touchdowns. Kalel Mullings and Donovan Edwards have been the leaders on the ground with 740 and 513 yards respectively.

The Wildcats will look to keep the Wolverines offense from getting on track as they try to come to town and get the upset win. The Wildcats come into Saturday 4-6 on the season and need wins in each of their last two games to make a bowl.
They will wrap up their season with a home game against Illinois next week, but need to find a way to beat the Wolverines to keep their bowl hopes alive. They have dropped three of their last four games and are coming off a 31-7 loss to Ohio State last weekend. They scored the first touchdown against the Buckeyes, but struggled after that and took the loss.
