With one game remaining in the regular season for these two conference foes, Iowa welcomes rival Nebraska to Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City on Friday night. After a huge win last week at home against Wisconsin, Nebraska is now bowl-eligible with a 6-5 overall record and a 3-5 mark in Big 12 play this season. However, the Cornhuskers are only 1-3 on the road compared to 5-2 at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln. Iowa, on the other hand, is also headed to a bowl game with a 7-4 overall record and a 5-3 conference record. The Hawkeyes are a near-perfect 5-1 at home this season. Iowa has won eight of the last nine meetings between these two teams, including a 13-10 victory at Memorial Stadium in 2023.

Most recently, Iowa took care of business on the road with a 29-13 victory over Maryland in College Park last week. The Hawkeyes rushing attack led the way with 268 yards on the ground led by Kaleb Johnson (35 carries, 164 yards) and Kamari Moutlon (12 carries, 114 yards) both going over the 100-yard mark in the game. The duo also added a touchdown each in the win.
As for Nebraska, the Huskers also notched a big win over Wisconsin by a final score of 44-25 in Lincoln last Saturday. Sophomore running back Emmett Johnson was the star of the day with a career-high 113 ruhsing yards and 85 receiving yards for 198 all-purpose yards in the win.
