With the visitors coming in with a perfect record for the first leg of the CIC trophy, Navy heads to Colorado Springs to take on Air Force at Falcon Stadium on Saturday. This is the 57th meeting between the two schools with Navy looking for its first 5-0 start in a season since 2017. The Midshipmen are 4-0 overall and 3-0 in conference play this season. Although they won on the road last week, Navy has only played one road game this season. Air Force, on the other hand, has lost three consecutive games to drop to 1-3 on the season. The Falcons are 1-1 at Falcon Stadium and 0-2 in conference play. Navy has not won in Colorado Springs since 2012, with the Falcons winning 17-6 last season.

Most recently, Navy extended its winning streak to four games with a 41-18 victory over UAB in Birmingham last week. Junior quarterback Blake Horvath threw for 225 yards and two touchdowns on just 11 attempts while rushing for 84 yards and a score. Eli Heidenreich had a team-high 108 receiving yards and a touchdown.
As for Air Force, the Falcons fell to Wyoming by a final score of 31-19 last week. The Cowboys ran away in the second half by out-scoring the Falcons 24-6 in the final two quarters. Air Force rushed for a season-high 205 yards, while quarterback John Busha threw for 115 yards.
