The Minnesota Golden Gophers head out west on Saturday night to take on the UCLA Bruins. The Golden Gophers are coming off their biggest win of the year as they beat No. 11 USC 24-17. The Golden Gophers trailed 17-10 heading into the fourth quarter, but got a Max Brosmer rushing touchdown with 7:08 left and Brosmer added another with 56 seconds left to give Minnesota the upset win. The victory snapped a two-game losing streak for the Golden Gophers and pushed their record to 3-2 on the season and 1-2 in the Big Ten. Brosmer has led the way this season as he has thrown for 1,263 yards and six touchdowns. Darius Taylor has been the team’s top rusher this year going for 402 yards and five touchdowns.
