The Michigan Wolverines will look to deal the Indiana Hoosiers its first loss of the season on Saturday afternoon in Bloomington, IN. The Wolverines have had a down year after winning the National Championship last season. They come into Saturday just 5-4 and fresh off a 38-10 loss to No. 1 Oregon at home last weekend. The Wolverines had their chances to keep the game close against the Ducks, but couldn’t convert on a fourth down inside the 10 late in the game. The loss was their third in the last four games as they also dropped games to Illinois and Washington. Quarterback Davis Warren looked better at times in the game against the Ducks as he went 12-21 for 164 yards and two touchdowns. The running game, though, was held down as they rushed for just 105 yards on 28 carries. They also struggled to slow down the Ducks offense and could have trouble against the potent Hoosiers attack on Saturday.

The nine straight wins to start the year has equaled their best start and has helped them climb all the way up to No. 8 in the first College Football Playoff rankings. They are in great shape to make the playoffs, but they need to get by a Wolverines team that they have had trouble beating in the past.
The Hoosiers will get a bye next week before a huge game against Ohio State, but they first need to not look ahead and beat Michigan.
