With the Tigers looking to extend their winning streak to five games this weekend, Memphis heads on the road for a matchup with Texas-San Antonio at the Alamodome on Saturday. After earning their latest win at home last week against Charlotte, Memphis has now won four games in a row to improve to 7-1 overall with a 3-1 mark in conference play. The Tigers are a perfect 5-0 at home, but just 2-1 on the road as they had to San Antonio this weekend. UTSA, on the other hand, dropped to 3-5 overall with a 1-3 conference record. The Roadrunners are a perfect 3-0 at home this season, with all five losses coming on the road. UTSA has won the only previous matchup between these two teams back in the 2021 season (31-28).

Most recently, Memphis made it four-straight wins with a 33-28 victory over Charlotte at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. The Tigers scored with just 31 seconds on a 24-yard touchdown that set a record for quarterback Seth Henigan. The game-winner was Henigan’s 91st career touchdown, moving him past Brady White for the most in program history.
As for UTSA, the Roadrunners lost a heartbreaker to Tulsa by a final score of 46-45 at Chapman Stadium last week. UTSA quarterback Owen McCown set a new program record for passing yards in a game with 434 passing yards and a career-high four touchdowns in the loss.
