With the two rivals meeting for the 36th time in both program’s regular-season finales this weekend, Kentucky welcomes in-state rival Louisville to Lexington on Saturday afternoon. After earning a huge win at home last week against Pittsburgh, Louisville has now improved to 7-4 overall with a 5-3 record in ACC play and a 3-2 road record as they head out on the road this week. Kentucky, on the other hand, has struggled in conference play this season with a 4-7 overall record and just a 1-7 mark in the SEC. The Wildcats are 3-4 at home this season compared to just 1-3 on the road. Kentucky has won five-straight games over Louisville, including a 38-31 victory last season to improve to 20-15 in the all-time series.Â

Most recently, Louisville notched its seventh win of the season in its final home game with a 37-9 victory over Pitt last week. The Cardinals dominated the first half to the tune of a 27-0 halfitme lead, with freshman running back Issac Brown leading the way with two rushing touchdowns. Quarterback Tyler Shough finished the day with 293 yards and two scores.
As for Kentucky, the Wildcats couldn’t hang with No. 3 Texas in a 31-14 loss last week. Kentucky swithced quarterbacks at halftime, with freshman Cutter Boley finishing the half with 160 passing yards, while Jamarion Wilcox was the rushing leader with 50 yards on the ground.
