Tennessee hosts Kent State on Saturday night. The Volunteers have looked like one of the best teams in the first two weeks as they beat Chattanooga 69-3 and No. 24 NC State 51-10. It has been a dominant start for the Volunteers and they have been led by quarterback Nico Iamaleava. He has been great going 38-51 for 525 yards and five touchdowns. He has thrown two interceptions, but he has still looked like one of the best quarterbacks in the country. He has found a great connection with Dont’e Thornton Jr. as he has caught two touchdown passes. Dylan Sampson has also been great on the ground for the Volunteers as he has rushed for 256 yards and five touchdowns. The offense will continue to keeps things rolling on Saturday night against a Golden Flashes team that has yet to win a game.

The Golden Flashes opened their season with a 55-24 loss to Pitt and then came home last weekend and were shocked by St. Francis (PA) for their second straight loss.
They gave up the first 17 points to St. Francis, but close to within 20-14 at the end of the first half. Unfortunately they were held to three points in the second half and lost 23-17.
Quarterback Devin Kargman has gone 36-66 for 374 yards threw the air and three touchdowns.
Luke Floriea has been his favorite target with 12 receptions for 196 yards and two touchdowns.
