Indiana looks to get its sixth straight win on Saturday afternoon when it visits Northwestern
The Indiana Hoosiers hit the road on Saturday to take on the Northwestern Wildcats. The Hoosiers come into the game a perfect 5-0 for the first time since 1967. It has been a shocking start for the Hoosiers under first year head coach Curt Cignetti. He told everyone he would turn around the Hoosier program, but this is sooner than expected. They still haven’t had a major test yet, but they are scoring points at an impressive rate. They have scored at least 42 points in each of the last four games and dropped 77 on Eastern Illinois earlier this year. The Hoosiers have been doing through the air and on the ground as they have 1,512 yards passing and 1,053 yards rushing. Quarterback Kurtis Rourke has led the way and Justice Ellison and Ty Son Lawton have been great on the ground. It has been a balanced attack that has led the Hoosiers to the rare undefeated start and Saturday they will look to keep it going against a Wildcats team that has struggled to score.

The Wildcats did get a bye last week, but are coming off a 24-5 loss at Washington. The Wildcats have now scored 20 or fewer points in three of their four games this season.
They come into Saturday just 2-2 on the season and those wins have come against Miami (OH) and Eastern Illinois. They have yet to beat a major conference opponent this year.
Saturday they will get that chance against a streaking Hoosiers team, but they are going to have to play a lot better to do it.
