With the visitors riding a six-game winning streak into the final two games of the season, No. 22 Harvard heads to Philadelphia for a matchup with conference rival Penn on Saturday. After losing its first conference game of the season, Harvard has been on fire with six straight wins, including four wins in a row in Ivy League play. The Crimson are 7-1 overall with a 4-1 conference record and a 2-1 road mark this season. Penn, on the other hand, has won two straight games to get back to an even 4-4 overall with a 2-3 conference record and a 2-2 home record. Harvard has won three consecutive games over Penn, including a 25-23 victory in 2023.Â

Most recently, Harvard continued its dominant run in conference play with a 26-6 victory over Columbia in Cambridge last week. The Crimson scored the game’s first 26 points to extend its home winning streak to 11 games. Cooper Barkate led the Harvard offense with 91 receiving yards and a touchdown.
As for Penn, the Quakers won a shootout with a 67-49 victory over Cornell at Schoellkopf field in Ithaca last week. Junior quarterback Liam O’Brien set a program single-game pssing touchdowns record with six scores through the air and added another on the ground. Penn’s 67 points is the team’s most scored in a conference game.
