After losing two straight games in one of their worst starts to the season in recent memory, Florida State heads on the road to face ACC foe Duke at Wallace Wade Stadium on Friday.
Although the Seminoles have struggled this season, the Blue Devils suffered their first loss of the season last week at Georgia Tech. Duke is now 5-1 overall with an even 1-1 record in conference play and an undefeated record in Durham this season (3-0). Florida State, on the other hand, has lost two consecutive games to drop to 1-5 overall with a 1-4 mark in conference play. Duke has never beaten Florida State in school history, with 22-straight losses,including a 38-20 loss last season.

Most recently, Duke lost their first game of the season to Georgia Tech in a 24-14 loss in Atlanta last week. The Blue Devils erased a 10-point deficit to make the game competitive, but Georgia Tech outscored Duke 14-0 in the fourth quarter. Duke quarterback Maalik Murphy finished with 205 passing yards, two touchdowns, and an interception in the loss.
As for Florida State, the Siminoles suffered a 29-13 loss to No. 15 Clemson at Doak Campbell Stadium last Saturday night. Quarterback Brock Glenn made his first career start for FSU, finishing 23-of-41 for 228 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Seminoles tight end Landen Thomas led the way witha team-high seven catches for 80 yards.
