Dayton heads to St. Thomas on Saturday afternoon in the regular season finale for both teams
The Dayton Flyers visit the St. Thomas Tommies on Saturday afternoon looking to win a second straight game. The Flyers snapped a three-game losing streak on Saturday when they beat Valparaiso 26-14. The win pushed their record to 6-4 overall and got them over .500 in the Pioneer at 4-3. They had a great start to the season as they had won five of their first six games, but they struggled on offense in loss to Morehead State, Presbyterian and San Diego. They scored just 23 combined points in those three loses and was held under 10 points twice. They surpassed that total in their win against the Beacons and they are hoping they can duo it again on Saturday and get a big road win to wrap up the regular season. Drew VanVleet has led the team with 1,774 yards passing and 17 touchdowns, while Mason Hackett has led the way on the ground with 783 yards and three touchdowns.

The Tommies will look to slow down the duo a they look to snap a three-game losing streak and finish the regular season at .500.
They had won four in a row, but have lost their last three to drop to 5-6 overall and 4-3 in the conference.
Last weekend they went to Bulter and fell to the Bulldogs 36-20. They cut the lead to six late in the third quarter, but gave up 17 of the next 24 points to take the loss.
The Tommies have been led by the duo of quarterback Tar Tateoka and running back Hope Adebayo. Tateoka has thrown for 1,150 yards and nine touchdowns, while Adebayo has rushed for 1,014 yards and seven touchdowns.
