Columbia will head on the road in Week 8 of the college football season to take on Pennsylvania at Franklin Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Saturday afternoon. The Lions head into this week with a 3-1 record after starting the season late, in the middle of September. They picked up a win in their first game against Lafayette at home before losing in their first road game against Georgetown 20-17. They went back on the winning side in their fourth game beating Princeton back at home 34-17 before making it a winning streak with their second straight win last week against Wagner. The 24-6 win was their first on the road this season and they hope today is their second. Chase Goodwin, the team’s sophomore starting quarterback, has 466 yards through four games with four touchdowns and one interception. Edan Stagg has been his best target. The 6-foot-1 junior receiver has 17 receptions for 224 yards and a touchdown averaging 13.2 yards per reception.

The hometown Quakers come into this game with a 2-2 record through their first four games. They opened up the season with a loss against Delaware on the road 29-22. They bounced back with a win at home against Colgate 27-17. They went back on the road losing to Dartmouth 20-17 and came back home last week winning 31-21 against Bucknell.
They will try to keep their home-winning streak alive today. Aidan Sayin, the senior quarterback for Penn, has 861 yards and six touchdowns with three interceptions through four games. The ground game is operated by Malachi Hosley who has 80 carries for 535 yards and four touchdowns with 6.7 yards per carry.
