Indiana looks to stay unbeaten on the season when it takes on Charlotte on Saturday afternoon
The Indiana Hoosiers take on the Charlotte 49ers on Saturday afternoon in Bloomington. The Hoosiers have been a bit of a surprise so far this season as they come into Saturday a perfect 3-0. They handled FIU in their first game and then whipped Western Illinois 77-3 before beating UCLA in their first Big Ten game 42-13. The 77 points against Western Illinois was their most ever and then they went out to Pasadena and kept their offense rolling against the Bruins. They controlled the game against the Bruins as they scored the first 21 points and never let the Bruins get back in the game. They have been led by Kurtis Rourke who has thrown for 755 yards and seven touchdowns already this season. Justice Ellison has also been great on the ground as he has rushed for a team-best 232 yards and three touchdowns. Ty Son Lawton and Elijah Green have also been good going for over 100 yards each and six combined touchdowns.

The 49ers are going to have their hands full trying to knock off the Hoosiers and get an upset win.
The 49ers have struggled in the early part of the season as they are just 1-2 and the one win was a comeback victory over Gardner Webb. They trailed in that game 20-3 before scoring the next 24 points, 21 of them coming in the fourth quarter. It was a near upset loss, but they pulled it out.
Saturday, though, they are going to have to play much better if they want to pull off the big upset and hand the Hoosiers their first loss of the season.
