BYU puts its perfect record on the line on Saturday night when it takes on Wyoming on the road
The BYU Cougars visit the Wyoming Cowboys on Sunday night looking to get a third straight win. The Cougars will be on the road for the second straight week after they went to SMU last Friday and picked up a hard-fought 18-15 win. They went into the game with the Mustangs as the underdog, but didn’t give up a touchdown to get the upset win. They did give up five field goals, but keeping the Mustangs out of the endzone gave them the win. The defense gave up just 251 yards of total offense as they moved to 2-0 on the season. Jake Retzlaff has been good at quarterback for the Cougars in the first two games as he has thrown for 550 yards and four touchdowns. His favorite target has been Chase Roberts who he has connected with nine times for 134 yards. Mata’ava Ta’ase has just three catches for the Cougars, but two of them have gone for touchdowns.

The Cowboys are going to have to try and find a way to slow down the Cougars passing attack if they want to pull off the upset and get their first win of the season.
It has been a tough start to the season for the Cowboys as they have lost to Arizona State 48-7 and then Idaho last weekend 17-13.
The loss to the Sun Devils was expected, but the loss to the Vandals was shocking. They couldn’t get anything going offensively outside of the first quarter. They did lead 10-7 after one, but they managed just a single field goal the rest of the way.
They are going to have to find some answers on the offensive side of the ball if they wan to have any shot to upset the Cougars on Saturday night.
